FUN IN THE SUN -- Henkle Middle School is proud to announce that William Gross and Lyndsie Moon are the students of the week for the week ending May 24! William, 13, is a seventh-grade student whose favorite subject is language arts. He plays basketball, baseball, football, golf, and likes to ski and hang out with friends in his spare time. William likes sports so much that when he grows up, he wants to be either a professional baseball or basketball player. William is the son of Fawn and Kevin Gross, of White Salmon. Lyndsie, 12, is a sixth-grader whose favorite subject is reading. She’s on the softball team and is a member of the book fair crew and likes to ride horses, read, play outside, and hang out with friends in her free time. Lyndsie says that when she’s older, she wants to be an author. Lyndsie is the daughter of Kim and Jason Moon, of Lyle.
