The annual Bicoastal Media/Guild Mortgage Company Home and Lifestyle Show will open the doors Friday, April 26, at 5 p.m. at its new location at the Civic Auditorium in The Dalles.
The show continues Saturday, April 27, and Sunday, April 28.
There is no admission charge for the public.
The Home and Lifestyle Show is in its 33rd year and is the only show of its type in the Gorge. Attendees come from Cascade Locks and Stevenson to the west and east to Arlington.
"I am really excited about this year's show," said Gary Grossman, regional vice Ppesident of Bicoastal Media, the show producer. "The move to the Civic has allowed us to make this the biggest show in recent history."
"Almost every possible space in the Civic is filled and we will have outside exhibits," said Rick Cavagnaro, Bicoastal Media sales manager. "We have many new products, displays and demonstrations for folks this year."
Along with contractors and builders with great home ideas, eco friendly building products and ideas, experts in bath and kitchen remodeling, countertops, barbecues, spices, rubs, and marinades, frozen slushy drinks, gourmet olive oil and balsamic vinegar in 20 plus flavors, landscaping, satellite services, home appliances, the latest HVAC products, over half of the show will feature new exhibitors.
American Clay Demos, cookware and cooking demonstrations, stamped concrete, alpaca clothing, assisted living, beauty products and also Miche Bags will be on hand. Mortgage and home finance experts will be there to help make your projects a reality as well as real estate professionals.
Many exhibitors will be featuring free drawings for prizes in their booths and special pricing only available during the show.
This year's featured food vendor is The Logs, with great barbecue prepared right at the Home Show all three days.
Live broadcasts with exhibitor information will take place all three days on 97.7 KACI FM, with updates on KCGB 105.5 and 96.9, and 92.7 KMSW. Broadcasts will include interviews with exhibitors and attendees.
Hours for the show at The Civic Auditorium are 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
