Announcement for McDermott baby

Steve and Jennifer McDermott, Beaverton, Ore., announce the birth of their son, Stephen Lars McDermott.

The baby boy was born aug. 4, 2012, at 5:09 p.m. at OSHU in Portland. At birth, the baby weighed 7 pounds 12.5 ounces and was 21.5 inches long. He joins sister Emmerson, 20 months, at home.

Grandparents are Lucy McDermott and the late Steve McDermott, Beaverton, Ore., and Ron and Karen Oliver, white Salmon.

Great-grandmother is Margaret Oliver, White Salmon.
