Summer passed by quicklyGlenwood News for Sept. 6September 04, 2012 By the GLENWOOD HOMEMAKERS School is back in session this week. Boy, the summer sure passed by quickly! Be sure to watch for children walking to and from school and bus stops! Junior high and high school volleyball games will soon be underway as well. Be watching for the school calendar with game and other school information. Best wishes to the students and teachers for a wonderful school year! Be making plans to participate in the Third Annual Glenwood Fall Bazaar. Whether you're a vendor with cool things to sell...or someone who wants to get an early start on your Christmas shopping...the Glenwood Fall Bazaar is a must! The annual event will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Glenwood School multi-purpose room on Oct. 13. Food, baked goods and beverages will be available during the bazaar. Booths and tables are available for rent from the Women's Ministry of Pioneer Memorial Community Church. For questions, or a vendor registration form, please contact Jennifer Hallenbeck at 364-3571 or pastorbutch@hughes.net. Our condolences are extended to Jake, Nila and Audrey after the recent death of their dad and grandpa, Nile Garrett. You all are in our thoughts at this time. There will NOT be a Bingo game at the Glenwood Grange on Friday, Sept. 7. The Women's Club plans to resume Bingo on the first Friday of each month beginning at 7 p.m. on Oct. 5. |
