Gospel group to play at United Methodist

On Sept. 16

September 11, 2012

Gospel and Christian music fans need to circle Sunday, Sept. 16, on their calendars.

On that date at 10:30 a.m., Nashville-based Ernie Couch & Revival will be in concert at White Salmon United Methodist Church presenting a high energy mixture of classic and new cutting edge gospel music.

This group is known across the United States and Canada for its live music, good humor, and genuine spirit. Many describe the group as unique, refreshingly different, and a lot of fun.

EC&R member Jason Couch said, "We perform music with a message that speaks to all age groups and all backgrounds. We enjoy what we do, and we want folks to leave our concerts feeling better than when they arrived."

The band has been on the road for two decades, has been nominated for a Grammy, and has had several charting singles in the United States and Europe. EC&R has recorded with such musical greats as George Beverly Shea, Jake Hess, George Jones, Boots Randolph, Patti Page and Petra, to name a few.
