ObituariesDeath notice for Illa RoshoneSeptember 18, 2012 ILLA ROSHONE Illa Mae Roshone, 66, of Dexter, Ore., passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2012. She was born in Conrad, Mont.She had worked as an assistant manager for Motel 6, laundry attendant for a Nursing home and did in home care. She and Don managed the Mt. View Mobile Home Park in Dexter, Ore., since 1979. In 2002 she attained her lifelong dream of earning her High School diploma and was proud to have her children attend her graduation at Lane Community College in Eugene, Ore. Illa enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved shopping and playing Bingo with her best friend and often talked of their adventures. Nothing was more important to her than her family. She provided childcare for her grandchildren and often had the older grandkids spend weekends with her. She was always available to help kids and "adopted" several as her own. Illa was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Roshone, Sr. and her youngest daughter, Tina Huber. She was also preceded in death by her parents Edith Ferguson and Andrew Mowat. She is survived by one brother Eddie and Jean Mowat of Dickson, Tenn.; and her children: Donna and Jim Cloinger of Husum, David Roshone of Eugene, Ore., Connie and Jerry Farr of Springfield, Ore., and step-children, Leona Solano and Donald Roshone, Jr. of Salem, Ore. She has 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at Dexter Baptist Church in October, The date will be determined after her granddaughter returns from a tour in Afghanistan. |
