Columbia River Fellowship for Peace rresents Peter Lumsdaine, education coordinator of ARROWS (Alliance to Resist Robotic Warfare and Society), former Dept of Energy researcher, Plowshares prisoner and Najaf Emergency Peace Team coordinator in occupied Iraq,

He will speak on "Deep Resilience, Ecological Refuge, and Effective Resistance" to challenge the CIA's role in escalating Middle East violence, at the edge of the looming peak-oil World War against Iran and the emerging technological matrix of the Robotic/Biotech Age.

The event will be held Sunday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m. at Riverside Church, 317 State Street, Hood River.

This presentation follows a Vet-led Armistice Day vigil/open Mic at the Fish Fountain Park at 2nd and State St., from 4:30-6 p.m.

Hot soup and beverages will be served at the church.
