Gear drive to support middle school

The All Sports Gear Swap is hosting a gear drive to gather donations for the Gear Swap.

Donations of sporting gear (no junk) can be brought to Henkle Middle School from Nov. 15 to Nov. 20.

The All Sports Gear Swap is part of SpringFest and is a fundraiser of the Henkle Parent Teacher Organization. The Gear Swap helps support many events at Henkle, including the recent "Challenge Day" which was an all-day event for eighth graders.

The event challenges students to worry less about image and focus on real connections with others. The day celebrates diversity and empowers students to "notice and act" when fellow-students are struggling with bullying or other issues.
