THROUGH NOV. 29 — Enamel and oil art by Lee Jensen, like the landscape above, are now on display at the White Salmon Library. November 14, 2012 Landscape and wildlife paintings in enamel and oil by area artist Lee Jensen are now on display in the White Salmon Valley Community Library's Sprint/Baker Gallery. The artist's mastery of the medium and realistic detail virtually transport the viewer out of the gallery and into the wilderness. Jensen, a retired commercial artist, says he has dabbled in "fine art" over the years. The current show consists of both new and old work. Full scale murals by Jensen can be seen at the Bonneville Dam visitors' center. He has lived in the Snowden area for 32 years. The show will be on display through Nov. 29 during regular library hours. |
