HAND-MADE APRONS — Alice Marvin, Joan Barrett and Joyce Eastwick wear aprons which will be on sale at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 1. November 27, 2012 St. Josephs Catholic Church will hold its 39th annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Church Annex located at 240 NW Washington Street in White Salmon. St Joseph's bazaar features hand-made items that are difficult to find at other bazaars, including hand embroidered tea towels and pillow cases, knit and crocheted winter hats, scarves, and gloves, and several quilts and aprons. The home-made cookies, candies, cakes and pies offer something for every budget, and beautiful gift baskets are sure to please anyone. The church's handmade noble fir swags add Christmas charm for a very reasonable price. The bazaar features a raffle of many items including a hand-made quilt, a doll with wardrobe, and a $100 gift certificate to Harvest Market. Raffle tickets are on sale for $1 each with prizes awarded on bazaar day at 3 p.m. At the bazaar, organizers are offering a lunch that features a trio of soups, with bread and beverage for a small charge. Special desserts to complement your coffee or lunch are also available for purchase. |
