Death notice for Shirly Blankenship

In loving memory of Shirly Ann Blankenship, 74.

Shirly died Dec. 9, 2012 in Hood River, Ore. She was born July 18, 1938, in Richland, Wis., to Leland Wayne Lovejoy and Edna Collins.

She is survived by her husband Dale Blankenship of White Salmon five children Scott of Dayton, Ore., Jeff, Allan and Steve all of White Salmon, and Juli Steel of Fort Worth, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Shirly loved time spent with grandchildren and devoted her life to family and friends. She had a love for animals and enjoyed bird watching. Luck followed her wherever she traveled.

At Shirly's request there will be a celebration of life at their residence, 1230 Highway 141, White Salmon, on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, from 1 to 4 p.m.
