Movie time at the library

On Dec. 15

December 11, 2012

Families and children of all ages are invited to the White Salmon Valley Community Library to watch a movie on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 2 p.m.

Popcorn and lemonade will be provided.

This film follows the heroic journey of Merida, a skilled archer and headstrong daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor. Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the unruly and uproarious lords of the land. Merida's actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric Witch for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish.

The ensuing peril forces Merida to harness all of her skills and resources -- including her clever and mischievous triplet brothers -- to undo a beastly curse before it's too late, discovering the meaning of true bravery.

The public performance site license is provided by the Friends of the Library.

Due to restrictions with license, the title of this movie can only be announced at the White Salmon Valley Community Library or by calling 493-1132.
