Inseparable existence: an art exhibit at the library

During the month of January

January 08, 2013

During the month of January, the White Salmon Valley Community Library's Sprint/Baker Gallery will feature artwork by local artist Evlory Dearing along with her granddaughter Firia Dearing Nichols.

The title of the show is "Inseparable Existence," and includes a variety of oil paintings.

Gifted artistic and creative individuals in the Columbia River Gorge have inspired Dearing to become a working artist the last 16 years. She says the process of painting always provides her with a haven and freedom in continued self-expression.

Familiar objects and subject matter have intuitively translated into fresh perspectives engaging new colors with ease. The results for her have been a sense of resolution.
