Death notice for Wilma Burdett

Wilma Jane Burdett passed away Jan. 5, 2013 in Vancouver, at the age of 93. She was born March 21, 1919 in Portland Ore., to William and Ethel Proppe.

She attended Llewellyn Grade School, Washington High School and Linfield College. She married Dan Burdett on May 27, 1940, and together they raised four children in Trout Lake.

Wilma was a wonderfully devoted mother. She was a member of the Trout Lake Presbyterian Church and worked part time at the Trout Lake Grocery and Post Office before retiring and moving with Dan to Vancouver.

Wilma is survived by her daughters Janice (Len) Portland, Roxanne (Arvid) Vancouver, Margi (Loren) Redmond, Ore.; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She is preceeded in death by her parents, sister Margaret Lednicky, brother Bill Proppe, husband Dan and son Dan Paul.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
