Wine gets 'Editor's Choice' In April 2013 wine magazine January 29, 2013 White Salmon Vineyards, the grower arm of Brehm Vineyards, announces that its 2011 Chardonnay, crafted by Ali Mayfield of Foundry Winery, Walla Walla, earned a 94 rating, and Editor's Choice award from Wine Enthusiast Magazine's April 2013 issue. Owner Peter Brehm said, "Providing grapes to small wineries and home winemakers has been a wonderful exploration of the developing West Coast grape growing regions, among the Northwest Chardonnay. It all takes time, not only winemakers, grower too, to better serve you." White Salmon Vineyard is one of the founding members of the Columbia Gorge AVA.
