Clark college classes in the GorgeIs the time right?January 29, 2013 The school districts of Stevenson-Carson and White Salmon Valley will host two public information nights to assess the need for and interest in a Clark College classes in the Columbia River Gorge. Representatives from Clark College will be on hand to hear public input on specific course needs and to discuss potential course offerings, as well as to gauge the level of interest in and support for higher education offerings in the area. "Clark College wants to be responsive to the educational needs of Skamania and Klickitat counties," said Tim Cook, Clark College Vice President of Instruction. "These forums will help us learn where to focus our limited resources most effectively." College classes would be held in the Wind River Education Center, currently vacant and formerly the middle school for the Stevenson-Carson school district.
