GLENWOOD HOMEMAKERS

Glenwood High School students will be working on their 2013 Service Learning Project during the month of February. Part of their project includes a clothing drive from Feb. 6 to 20.

Donations of gently used items including toys and clothes are being sought from community members. Please remember that toys need to have all pieces and include working batteries.

Donations can be dropped off in the horse trailer that will be set up in the school parking lot for dry storage. Donated items will be contributed to Goodwill at the end of the project.

Should you have questions regarding the Service Learning Project, please contact Bo Arnold at 364-3438. Thank you in advance for helping the students with this learning opportunity!

As an added bonus...this is a good chance to get started on your spring cleaning or de-cluttering!

The Glenwood High School senior and junior classes are planning the annual crab feed and silent auction for Monday, Feb. 11.

Reservations are required by Feb. 5; please contact the school office at 364-3438 so they can order enough crab. Meals will be served from 4:30 until 8 p.m. in the multi-purpose room.

Crab dinners are $20 and chef salads are available for $10.

Be sure to mark your calendars for this special crab dinner and silent auction event! Proceeds from this fund raiser go towards the students'senior educational trips.

If you have news items to share, please contact Terry at 364-3371. Thank you!
