What's killing the pines? Find out at Feb. 9 meeting January 29, 2013 Washington State University Extension and the Underwood Conservation District will be hosting a "Pine Tree Health Workshop" on Saturday, Feb. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Underwood Community Center. The workshop is free. The workshop will help area landowners learn about pine health issues and what to do about the reddening pines in the areas. Experts from WSU, the state Department of Natural Resources and UCD will be on hand to give advice and answer questions.
