Hood River resident charged with Snowden burglary

Report from KCSO

February 05, 2013

On Dec. 27, 2012, the Klickitat County Sheriff's Office received a report that a residence on Bristol Road in Snowden had been burglarized.

The initial investigation by KCSO deputies revealed that the home had been entered through the garage.

Items taken during the burglary included several firearms, jewelry (approximate value of $25,000) and U.S. currency.

KCSO detectives investigating the case ultimately located and recovered much of the stolen jewelry from businesses in the greater Portland metro area.

All the stolen firearms and some of the remaining jewelry were located within a residence in Hood River.

After submitting the case to the Klickitat County Prosecutor's Office, charges of burglary first degree, theft first degree and three counts of theft of a firearm are being requested to be filed against 51-year-old Debra L. Martinez, Hood River.
