Skyline Hospital is offering a First Aid and CPR course which teaches you how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for an adult and child victims. Students also learn to recognize the warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulties in children. It is an excellent opportunity for local businesses to ensure that their employees know critical first-response skills. The course is sanctioned by the American Heart Association (AHA) and students will receive a two-year certification card from the AHA. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required. For their calendar to sign up for any of their First Aid/CPR classes ($55 per person) call Gorge Rescue at 541-490-4657. Or check out their website at skylinehospital.com.
