Car prowls prompt request

Police seek help with car prowls

After investigating five car prowls Tuesday morning, Police Chief Ned Kindler of the Bingen-White Salmon Police Department is asking the public for assistance with the crimes.

"We need their help," Kindler said. "If anyone sees or hears anything suspicious, we ask that they call the police department."

Kindler also reminded residents leaving for summer vacations to lock their homes, and keep their vehicles locked at night.

The police department can be reached at 493-1177.
