Washington State Patrol report for May 31



Jacki R. Kayser, 43, Centerville, was injured in a one-vehicle accident Sunday, May 27, at approximately 7:15 p.m. on state Route 97 near milepost 7.

According to the state patrol report, Kayser was southbound on SR 97. Her 1994 Olds Delta went off the roadway to the right, striking the guard rail. The vehicle re-entered the roadway and crossed both lanes before going off the roadway to the left and striking a fence.

Kayser was transported to The Dalles hospital and then taken to OSHU in Portland.

She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

An unknown motorcycle driver was injured Friday at approximately 12:05 a.m. on SR 142 near milepost 12.

According to the report, the driver of the 1982 Kawasaki was northbound on SR 142. The motorcycle left the roadway to the left, striking a rock embankment.

The driver, whose identification was unknown, was transported by ambulance to Mid-Columbia Medical Center in The Dalles.
