Celebrate old fashioned Christmas in Stevenson

The annual Starlight Fire Truck parade in Stevenson will begin Nov. 30 at 7 p.m.

Celebrate an old fashioned Christmas in the Gorge, sponsored by the Stevenson Business Association, beginning Friday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m. with the annual Starlight Fire Truck parade through downtown Stevenson.

Area fire departments have been invited to enter decorated trucks, which will be judged and awarded cash prizes prior to the parade.

On Saturday, Dec. 1, Breakfast with Santa will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Rock Cove Assisted Living Center. Children and parents will enjoy muffins, fruit and beverages while having snapshots taken with Santa.

Other activities planned for Saturday, Dec. 1st, at Stevenson Elementary School, include an arts and crafts bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring homemade Christmas ornaments, toys, gifts and baked goodies.

Other activities include a mystery hunt, photos with Santa and musical presentations by the Stevenson High School Choir, Gloria James and Andreas and Carol Ehrlich.

On Sunday, Dec. 2, the Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center will feature a Christmas sing-a-long in the main lobby at 2:30 p.m.
