Jessica Kindler, White Salmon, became the bride of Gary Manning, Carson, on Nov. 3, 2001, at the Pinecrest Church of the Nazarene in White Salmon.
The bride is the daughter of Ned and Vickie Kindler, White Salmon. The groom is the son of Karl and Lori Elliott, Carson.
Jeff Austin of Vancouver performed the double-ring ceremony before 325 family and friends.
Given away in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory halter gown featuring a beaded bodice and rose buds on the Cathedral-length train.
The bride's sister Lisa Kindler served as maid of honor. Attendants were Sheryl Erb, Ellensburg, Wendy Krieger, White Salmon, and Tara Schultz, the groom's stepsister, Plummer, Idaho. Sarah Brending was the junior bridesmaid and Daphne and Payton Struck were the flower girls.
Scott Birkenfeld of Carson served as best man. Attendants were Spencer Meinzer, Grand Coulee, Don Tate, Carson, and Clint Harris, San Diego, Calif. The bride's cousin Will Poulter, St. Louis Park, Mich., was the ring bearer.
Following the wedding, a dinner and dance was held at the Elks Lodge in White Salmon.
The bride is a 1997 Columbia High School graduate and a June 2001 Central Washington University graduate, with a degree in health education. She currently works in the Law Office of Anthony H. Connors.
The groom graduated from Stevenson High School in 1996 and from Central Washington University in 2000 with a degree in law and justice. He is currently employed with the Bingen-White Salmon Police Department.
Following a weeklong honeymoon at Disneyland, Universal Studios and Sea World, the couple is now at home in White Salmon.
