For the past nine months, a dedicated group of representatives from many churches in the Mid Columbia Gorge area have been working to establish an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International.
In so doing, the Church Relations Committee of Mid Columbia Habitat for Humanity is offering an ecumenical study exploring the theological foundation and philosophy of Habitat for Humanity.
The study group will use the book "Theology of the Hammer" by Millard Fuller, founder of Habitat for Humanity International.
The four-session study will take place on Oct. 23 and 30, Nov. 6 and 13, at 7 p.m. at Parkhurst House, 2450 W. May Street, Hood River.
