It's a 'Berry-licious Parade'

Huckleberry Festival parade begins at 11a.m. on Saturday in Bingen

The 2001 Huckleberry committee would like to see everyone at its Berry-licious World parade on Sept. 8 at 11 a.m. on "Huckleberry Road," better known as Steuben Street in Bingen.

Put on the purple, the cute, the funny or whatever and join us. Old cars, classic cars, convertibles, horses, floats, you name it is welcome in the parade. All children are invited to participate. They can decorate bikes, wagons, pets or themselves.

Entry forms are available at Bingen City Hall, Columbia River Bank, White Salmon Library and the Visitors Information Center, or by calling Gayle Krenz at 493-1737.

Line up will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Maple and Humboldt streets (next to Fidel's).

Judging will take place at 10 a.m. with first, second and third place ribbons in all divisions. There will be participant ribbons for everyone.
