Trout Lake Schools' athletics fund will be the beneficiary of the Mount Adams Elks/Francis E. Logan Memorial Mixed Chapman Golf Tournament.
This year's benefit tourney -- the 33rd annual -- takes place Saturday, Aug. 24, on the Husum Hills Golf Course links.
Proceeds from the event will go to Trout Lake Schools to help fund their athletics programs.
The 18-hole tournament -- for two-person teams (one woman, one man) -- is open to Elks and non-members alike. Entry blanks are available at the lodge and the golf course.
The entry fee of $70 per couple (payable to Mount Adams Elks Lodge No. 1868 by Aug. 22 to guarantee a spot in the field) includes a nine-hole practice round on Friday, Aug. 23, beverage service on the day of the tournament, and a banquet dinner at the lodge.
Prizes will be awarded to the top teams, as well as to the players who record the longest drives and shots closest to the pin.
In addition, a special prize is available to the first player to sink a hole-in-one.
For more information, contact the Elks Lodge at 493-1868, or Husum Hills at 493-1211.
