Area couples invited to marriage enrichment seminar

Pair to discuss ways to improve marriages.

Pat and Tami Milligan will be hosting a "Marriage Enrichment Seminar" on Feb. 10 and 11 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hood River Valley Adult Center on Brookside Drive.

The couple will celebrate 20 years of marriage in August, 2002. They have enjoyed speaking and teaching in marriage seminars and at marriage retreats.

Pat, as a minister, has counseled and pastored many couples.

Tami is a woman's conference speaker, mother and nursing supervisor at Providence Hood River Hospital.

The seminar is for couples, those planning marriage, and men and women desiring to deepen their relationships. Participants can expect information presented in a relaxed, fun environment.

Topics to be discussed include material in the book, "The Five Love Languages," by Gary Chapman; how to effectively love your spouse; what to do when communications breaks down; and habits that destroy relationships.

The seminar is sponsored in part by Hood River Valley Adult Center and is free to the public.
