4-Hers elect new officers

The 4-H Community Club met and elected officers. Ashley Woodward is president, Mitch Wheelhouse is vice president, Stacy Roland is secretary, Candi Kuhnhausen is treasurer, Chelsey Wheelhouse is reporter, and Emilie Brassel, Jazmine Esponza and Jarren Ladiges are phone callers.

4-H leaders had their meeting Feb. 20. They elected officers: Tonia Warren, president; Kay Pratt, vice president; and Chris Miller, treasurer.

The Community Club is having a record book meeting on Feb. 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the school.

The senior class is still selling raffle tickets for two quilts, which will be raffled off at the Mother's Day Tea. Please support the seniors.

The homecoming basketball game was with Bickleton on Feb. 3. The senior girls were Jenna Dean and Chelsey Wheelhouse. The senior boys were Jeremy Ballard, Jacob Hinderliter, Jerritt Kuhnhausen and Travis Miller. The seniors gave their moms beautiful red carnations at the Homecoming game. Thanks very much seniors.

The boys varsity won its first game of the season that night against Bickleton. Good job boys. We are proud of our girls and boys teams for doing their best this season.

The Homecoming Court was Chelsey Wheelhouse and Josh Smith, Kortni Kamp and Morgan Gamble, Jenna Dean and Jeremy Ballard, Jennifer Harter and Travis Miller, Sarah La Vallie and Jerritt Kuhnhausen. Amy Hendricks and Dean Russum crowned the new royalty -- Queen Jenna Dean and King Jeremy Ballard. Congratulations to you.

Kim Hoctor, Shayne Arnold and Travis Miller would like to thank the community for buying fruit and supporting the high school rodeo club.
