The CAST Performing Arts Center presents Pacific Northwest-based band Misty River in concert for The Nature Conservancy on Saturday, June 29 at 8 p.m. in Hood River.
Misty River will perform a wide variety of Americana music from familiar folk, country and bluegrass favorites to Celtic tunes, haunting ballads and award-winning original songs.
Misty River is an all-female acoustic quartet (two of whom are mother and daughter) who supports their beautiful blend of harmonic voices with guitar, fiddle, accordion, banjo and bass.
The band tours nationally and has released two albums, recently earning Misty River a spot as one of the top-selling Northwest bands in the Portland area.
The group's credits include numerous first-place awards in band and songwriting contests and a semifinalist spot at the regional Lilith Fair Talent Search.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the CAST Performing Art Center. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
