Washington State Patrol report.



Four area residents were injured on Sunday when they were involved in a three-vehicle accident near state Route 141-A at approximately 5:30 p.m.

According to the report, an uninvolved Jeep stopped on SR 14 westbound, waiting for traffic prior to making a left turn onto SR 141-A. A 1998 Dodge Neon driven by Harry E. Benjamin, 60, White Salmon, then stopped behind the Jeep. A third vehicle, a 1993 Honda Accord driven by Jody C. Ensminger, 55, Underwood, stopped behind the Dodge Neon. A fourth vehicle, a 1989 Chevy Suburban driven by Bonnie K. Kenyoyer, 37, White Salmon, struck the Honda Accord, which in turn struck the Dodge Neon.

Benjamin, Ensminger and her husband, 58-year-old Richard Ensminger, and Kenyoyer all suffered injuries in the accident and were transported by private vehicles to Skyline Hospital in White Salmon. All four were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.

The Chevy Suburban sustained $2000 damage and was driven from the scene. The Honda Accord was totaled in the wreck and towed from the scene. And, the Dodge Neon sustained $5000 damage and was driven from the scene.
