First Indy offers 12 Clark scholarships in service areas

Seniors interested in business can apply for scholarships.

April 12 is the deadline for accepting applications for 12 full-tuition First Independent Bank scholarships available at Clark College for the 2002-2003 academic year.

Six scholarships will be for first year students and six for second year. The awards will cover full-tuition for three successive quarters.

Students wishing to apply for these and other scholarship opportunities are encouraged to complete a standard Clark College Scholarship Application. Forms are available through high school counseling offices, through the Financial Aid Office at Clark College, or at the office of the Clark College Foundation.

One full-tuition scholarship will be awarded by the Clark College Foundation Committee to a student in each of First Independent Bank's main service areas: Vancouver, Evergreen, Battle Ground, Ridgefield LaCenter Woodland, Skamania/Camas, and West Klickitat.

Eligibility for these scholarships includes: attending Clark College in the fall following 2002 high school graduation; having at least a 3.0 gpa; and preference will be given to business majors.
