Take a walk through the past

Daughters of American Revolution host genealogical workshop.

The public is invited to "Take a Walk through the Past."

The Mt. Adams Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will be hosting a genealogical lineage workshop for interested researchers and genealogy buffs.

The workshop will be held on Oct. 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Sterling Savings Bank in White Salmon.

Knowledgeable people from the chapter will be available to assist with genealogy research.

Anyone interested in attending is asked to bring any data concerning ancestors such as birth, death, marriage, baptismal certificates, land records and newspaper items.

Refreshments will be served.

There is no charge.
