Photographer shows work at White Salmon library

Opening reception for artist set for Oct. 5.

"Special Moments of Light and Color: Photography," an exhibit by Christine Brigner, Skybrook Photography, will be on display at the White Salmon Valley Community Library during the month of October.

The public is invited to meet the artist at the opening reception on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 3-5 p.m. at the library

Brigner's photographs represent more than 40 years of living and playing in the Columbia River Gorge and along the Oregon coast. Her art reflects the emotion inspired by the physical setting of the shot, capturing a unique perspective, which is often missed by the casual observer.

For Brigner, the true enjoyment of photography comes from capturing and sharing that special moment of light and color.

The exhibit will continue through the month of October during regular library hours.
