On April 2 at approximately 8:41 a.m., the Klickitat County Sheriff's Office received a call of a subject pinned by a tractor in the 1700 block of S. Columbus, Goldendale.
A deputy was dispatched to the scene, along with a medic unit and Rescue 7.
Rande Enyeart, Goldendale, was found deceased at the scene. Enyeart had apparently been pinned by the front-end loader he had been operating.
Investigation of the incident is ongoing through the sheriff's office.
Six days after the multi-county dive training, the Skamania County Dive-Rescue Team was back in the water.
The sheriff's office received information regarding a submerged vehicle in the Rain Creek area off of Forest Road 10.
Forest Service special agent Dan Farhni, deputy Christian Lyle and Sergeant Arne Gonser, from the dive-rescue team, responded.
The vehicle, a stolen 1985 Chevrolet Corvette, was located 31 feet below the surface.
Deputy George Barker is investigating the incident and anyone with information regarding the case is urged to call the sheriff's office, 427-9490.
