Prosecuting Attorney reports on July cases

The following matters were heard before the Klickitat County Superior Court on July 8, 2003:

Matthew Alan Levasseur, 19, Goldendale, pled guilty to delivery of a counterfeit controlled substance and was sentenced to 60 days confinement, 12 months community custody and $2,360 in fines and costs.

Several individuals were sentenced in criminal proceedings before the Klickitat County Superior Court on July 7, 2003:

Mark Anthony Fuwell, 19, White Salmon, after previously pleading guilty to attempted residential burglary, was sentenced to 60 days confinement, 12 months community custody, and ordered to pay $1,260 in fines, costs and victim restitution.

Fuwell had also pled guilty to malicious mischief in the third degree and was sentenced to 365 days with 335 days suspended (30 days confinement), 24 months adult probation, and pay $1,210 in fines and costs with restitution to be determined at a later date.

Karee Ann Risteen, 25, Spokane, pled guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and was sentenced to four months confinement per each count to be served concurrently, 12 months community custody and pay $3,460 in fines and costs.

Frank Harry Jim, 30, Brownstown, pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and was sentenced to 60 days confinement, 12 months community custody, and ordered to pay $1,960 in fines and costs.

On July 10, 2003, Stephen Lester Powers, 59, Goldendale, pled guilty to one count of unlawful possession of a firearm in the second degree and was sentenced to 30 days confinement, 12 months community custody and ordered to pay $1,235 in fines and costs.
