Singer to perform in concert at CAST

Performances planned for June 6

There will be a concert at CAST Performing Arts Center in Hood River on Friday, June 6, at 8 p.m., featuring the music of local singer/songwriter Larry Russ.

Doors will open at 7:30.

Admission will be $7 at the door.

Playing with Larry will be David Dionesotes (vocals and guitar) and Jason Russ (percussion). Special guest musicians will be Betsy Oslund Harmon (vocals and keyboard), Michelle Goguen (guitar and vocals) and John Cyparski (flute).

Russ and Dionesotes have performed and written music together since 1990 and were finalists invited to perform at last summer's performing songwriters contest in Sisters, Ore.

Jason Russ has performed with Dionesotes and Larry Russ in venues in the Gorge and the Willamette Valley, as well as collaborating with other musicians live and in the studio.

Harmon is a local singer/song writer and was recently featured on Dan Ross' Q104.5 FM Sunday radio program.

Goguen has performed in many of the Gorge's venues with a rich, powerful voice that consistently has her listeners asking for more.

Cyparski is an accomplished musician and member of the group Syncline and will be demonstrating his craft on flute.
