Lions ready to sell Xmas trees

Proceeds to fund senior scholarships

The White Salmon Lions will sell Christmas Trees again this year at the Dickey Farms produce outlet in Bingen.

Tree sales will begin on Saturday, Nov. 29, and continue through Saturday, Dec. 20, or as long as the trees last.

As in past years, the proceeds from the Lions tree sales will go to fund scholarships for graduating high school seniors from Columbia, Trout Lake, and Glenwood High schools, as well as for eye glasses and eye exams for people needing assistance, and for other projects in our community.

Local Lions request your help by asking that you buy your Christmas Tree from the White Salmon Lions to help with these worthwhile projects.

This year tree sales will be held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Hours of operation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. on Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.

The White Salmon Lions will offer both Grand Firs and Nobel Firs again this year.

Your support is appreciated.
