Pancake breakfast set to raise funds

Proceeds to pay for equipment

The Mill A Volunteers plans a public "fireman's flapjack breakfast" fundraiser on Saturday, May 8, from 7 a.m.-11 a.m., at the Mill A School.

The Mill A firefighters are trying to raise a 10 percent match for the $89,000 FEMA grant the department was recently awarded. The grant will go to help pay for personal protective equipment, turnouts, and other safety gear for the volunteer firefighters.

The school is located at 1142 Jessup Road, off Cook-Underwood Road.
