Report for Klickitat County Sheriff's Office



On Monday, Jan. 12, the Klickitat County dispatch center received a report of a one-car motor vehicle collision on Pipeline Road. Deputies were dispatched to the scene, which was in front of the residence at 919 Pipeline Road.

An investigation of the incident found that a 1991 Chevrolet Astro van had struck and injured a two-year-old boy. The boy had been sledding and the sled entered Pipeline Road in front of the van owned by Melodee Goodrich of Goldendale. The vehicle then ran off the road to the south.

The driver of the van was Roger Snovelle, 22, Goldendale.

Pipeline Road was closed to vehicle traffic for approximately 45 minutes, during the investigation and removal of the vehicle.

The injured child was transported to Klickitat Valley Hospital.

The circumstances of the collision are currently under investigation by the Klickitat County Sheriff's Office.
