Prosecutor Reports On Court Cases

Defendants appear in Superior Court

The following defendants appeared at the Superior Court on November 1, 2004:

Rudeena Edweena Bennett-Flock, 31, Wishram, pled guilty to malicious mischief in the first degree and was sentenced to 45 days confinement, 12 months community custody and was ordered to have no contact with the victim, pay $1,270 in fines and costs and an additional amount for restitution to be determined later.

Jonathan Michael Martinez, 25, Carson, pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and was sentenced to 12 months and one day incarceration, community custody between nine to 12 months and to undergo an evaluation and possible treatment for substance abuse. Martinez was ordered to pay $3,450 in fines and costs.

Melissa Ann Monner, 45, Goldendale, pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance (methadone) and was sentenced to 10 days incarceration, 12 months community custody and undergo evaluation and possible treatment for substance abuse. Monner was ordered to pay $2,715 in fines and costs.

Michael Hugh Holbrook, 36, Dallesport, pled guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm in the second degree and assault in the fourth degree -- domestic violence. On the first count he was sentenced to 21 days confinement and on the second count he was sentenced to 365 days incarceration with 344 days suspended with both counts to be served concurrently. Holbrook will have 12 months of community custody and was ordered to undergo evaluation for treatment for domestic violence. Holbrook was ordered to pay $1,347.50 in fines and costs, and an additional sum for restitution to be determined later.

Daniel Robert Lofstrom, 43, Goldendale, pled guilty to harassment and was sentenced to 365 days incarceration with 330 days suspended and credit for time served, as well as 12 months active probation. Lofstrom is to have no contact with the victim or his family, is to undergo evaluation for treatment for alcohol abuse and was ordered to pay $1,400.15 in fines and costs.

On November 5, 2004, Windy Anne Schatz, 20, Goldendale, pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and was sentenced to 60 days incarceration, 12 months community custody, and ordered to undergo evaluation for treatment for substance abuse and to pay $2,285 in fines and costs.
