Thomas family seeks help in Christmas stockings display

Stockings made as gifts for locals

The family of longtime White Salmon resident Louise Thomas is preparing a special showing of Thomas' handmade, knitted Christmas stockings she made for so many local families over the years.

Thomas made more than 100 Christmas stockings as gifts, and there will be a display of as many as can be obtained at the White Salmon Community Library. The display will begin Dec. 1, and the stockings may be picked up by the owners after the library's Christmas Wassail program.

If you or your family have one of Thomas' Christmas stockings and would be willing to share it, please call Fred or Bev Thomas at 493-3663.
