Students go to college

Glenwood has many students in college this fall. The four that graduated in June are all in college in four different directions. Nick Kokos headed off to Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, Ore., Candi Kuhnhausen is in Vancouver attending Clark College. Marlinda Murphy is in Lawrence, Kan., at the Native American College, Haskell. Stacie Williams is in Portland going to Cascade College.

Students returning to college for their second year include: Ruth Putnam at Cascade; Josh Smith at Whitman in Walla Walla; Eric Sinor in Longview, Texas, at LaTourneau; and Kortney Kamp at Clark.

Third year return students are Shayne Arnold at Walla Walla; Jenna Dean at Washington State; Jerritt Kuhnhausen at Columbia Basin in Pasco; and Chelsy Wheelhouse at Eastern Oregon.

The other Glenwood students in college working on their degrees include Amy Hendricks, Dean Russum, Tye Eldred and Steve Vinyard, all at WSU; Chad Bales at Chico State in Chico, Calif.; and Misty Hankins at Townsend University in Baltimore, Md.

Sarah Humphrey also returned to college to do post graduate studies. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in May 2003 and has gone back to California Lutheran University to get her teaching certificate.
