Report for Washington State Patrol



Two White Salmon area residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident Sunday night on State Route 141, at the intersection with SR 141A.

According to the report, a 1999 Ford Windstar driven by Daneil E. Ray, 30, Underwood, was spotted northbound on SR 141, preparing to turn south onto SR 141A. A second vehicle, a 1999 Ford Ranger driven by Carole A. Block, 55, White Salmon, was northbound on SR 141, approaching the SR 141A intersection. Block was unable to stop her vehicle and it struck Ray's vehicle in the rear.

The collision is still under investigation.

Both Ray and Block, who were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident, were transported by ambulance to Skyline Hospital in White Salmon. Both were suffering neck pain.
