Ketchum Kalf queen named

Glenwood News for Feb. 24

By the

The Glenwood Rodeo Association held its annual meeting Jan. 23 to elect officers and crown the queen for the 2005 Ketchum Kalf Rodeo.

Officers for the 71st annual rodeo are president Keith Kreps, vice president Chuck Allen, secretary/treasurer Roxie Clemmer. Oop Burgin, Jerry Ladiges, Harry Miller, Bubs Murray, Jason Throop and Mike Woodward will serve as the board of directors.

Queen Alicia Partlow will be making promotional appearances and reigning over this year's rodeo.

The next Glenwood Rodeo Association meeting will be Sunday, Feb. 27, at 1 p.m. at the school. Anyone interested in helping with the rodeo or kitchen construction project are most welcome.

Recent postal retiree Margaret Throop would like to thank her family and friends for helping make her retirement receptions such special events. A whole lot of good old visiting and reminiscing went on; and a good time was had by everyone who attended.

Sympathy is extended to Ken and Eileen Kanowsky after Ken's father recently passed away.

It was good to hear that Jodi Sanchey has been able to come home from the hospital. We wish her the best as she awaits the arrival of her baby.
