Summer concert series at Goldendale Library

Sweet Adelines to play July 22

This Friday, July 22, the public is invited to a free concert at the Goldendale Community Library, featuring The Sweet Adelines of Hood River and the Mid-Columbia area. The concert begins at 7 p.m.

The Sweet Adelines are a women's vocal group specializing in vocal harmonies, barbershop-style music and traditional American songs. This concert will feature 16 singers performing a variety of tunes from 20th century American music.

This concert is the second in a series of monthly summer concerts to be held at the Goldendale Library this year.

Don't miss the next concert featuring the Gorge Winds Concert Band at the Annual Ice Cream Social at the Library.

These music events are all free and open to the public, underwritten by the Friends of the Library and made possible by a generous donation from a member of the Goldendale community.

For more information call the library at 773- 4487.
