Local churches sponsor community wide Easter Sunrise Service

Service to be held at CHS football stadium

It has become a tradition in our community over the past several years to gather together for a community-wide Easter Sunrise Service on Easter morning.

As in the past, the local Evangelical Pastors' Association will be sponsoring this event which is being held at the Columbia High School football stadium on Easter morning, Sunday, March 27.

An invitation is extended to all the people of the White Salmon and Bingen areas as well as those in the surrounding communities. You need not be currently involved in a local church to come and enjoy this time of fellowship with others.

The service will begin at 6:30 a.m. and conclude at 7:30 a.m.

In addition to an inspiring time of worshipful singing led this year by the White Salmon Christian Assembly worship team; there will also be an encouraging message from the Word of God presented by Pastor Tim Hardin of the Bingen Assembly of God Church. Special music and powerful testimonies will be presented by several members of other participating churches.

Hot beverages and other refreshments, as well as a light snack will be offered to those in attendance.

The Evangelical Pastors Association is currently comprised of the following churches: Bingen First Baptist Church, Bingen Assembly of God, Pinecrest Church of the Nazarene, Grace Baptist Church, and White Salmon Christian Assembly.
