Celebrate children's book week

Juggler to be at library Nov. 15

Children and their families are invited to celebrate Children's Book Week with juggler and performer extraordinaire, Henrik Bothe, on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 4 p.m. in the White Salmon Valley Community Library's Sprint/Baker Gallery.

The Friends of the Library will provide refreshments.

Children's Book Week, November 14-20, is promoted nationally by the non-profit Children's Book Council. The annual November event is intended to introduce young people to new authors and ideas in libraries, schools, homes and bookstores, and to encourage young people and their caregivers to use books to discover the complexity of the world beyond their own experiences.

Performances by Bothe will also be presented at the Stevenson Community Library on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m. and at the Goldendale Community Library on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 3:15 p.m.
