Deloitte & Touche LLP has ranked Bingen's Insitu Group as one of the "fastest growing technology companies in Washington" at an award ceremony Oct. 4 in Seattle.
"To rank on Deloitte's Technology Fast 50, companies must have phenomenal revenue growth during a five-year span," said Larry Hile, a partner in Deloitte's technology, media, and telecommunications practice in Seattle. "Deloitte applauds all of the companies reeving honors for having the long-term vision to develop technologies that change the way we work and play."
Insitu, which designs and builds robotic aircraft for commercial and military applications, ranked No. 10 on the list of the 50 technology companies. The innovative business, located at the Port of Klickitat's Bingen Point industrial park, registered revenue growth of 1,091 percent over the past five years.
Topping the list of 50 was Seattle Genetics, Inc., a Bothell-based biotechnology/pharmaceutical firm that showed growth of 6,669 percent during the five-year period from 2000-2004.
