Homecoming parade will start later; conclude at high school stadium

Attend first-ever evening parade

On Oct. 5 at 6:15 p.m., Columbia High School will be hosting the first-ever, evening Homecoming Parade through downtown White Salmon.

Participants in the parade will include the Homecoming Court, Class Floats with students, Sports Teams and School Clubs. In addition to CHS students, organizations and clubs from Henkle Middle School and Whitson Elementary are invited to attend.

All community organizations within the White Salmon School District and all CHS alumni are invited to join in the parade.

Line up will be at the Park Center on the Washington Street side at 6 p.m.

The evening's entertainment will end at Bruin Stadium, beginning at 7 p.m. with refreshments and Cow Plop Bingo.

Funds raised from Bingo will help pay for new restrooms at the stadium.

Call Julie Davis, 493-1970, by Monday, Oct. 3, if you would like to enter your club or organization in the parade.

The Bruin's homecoming football game will be held Friday, Oct. 7, against the Stevenson Bulldogs. Kickoff is at 7 p.m., with the Homecoming King and Queen named at halftime.
